This is sure a burger bar. Craft burgers or made to order with a variety of toppings. The service was great. Loved the decor with the barrel hanging lamps and the rustic setting. The burger presentation and taste was really good. Loved the waffle fries. Sometimes we miss treasured spots like this when it's not stand alone. But this is a spot to go to. I highly recommend.

It was our first time here, I tried to call ahead but there's no call ahead seating. When we got here there was a bit of a wait for a table, but zero wait at the bar, so we sat there. My husband wanted an IPA and the bartender let him taste 2 different IPAs--one was gluten free (which he said wasn't bad). We got the fried cheese curds as an appetizer and they were hot and fresh and the sauce had the right amount of spice. I had the Aristocrat (with some of the complimentary extras) and he had the Nacho. The waffle fries were fantastic. The burgers are a bit messy to eat but very delicious. The vibe was nice. TVs, music--I'd go again.

Had a large work lunch here with 20+ folks. The service was phenomenal as was the food which came out incredibly fast. My first time visiting and I will be back for sure. I typically avoid burger places because I can make a mean burger, but WOW. I had the pepper belly Burger and tots very Good. My buddy had the Mac Burger which was awesome looking, I'll be having that next. Inside was clean, no frills bar vibe.

We were out and about last weekend and decided we were in the mood for burgers. The first place we were planning to go to at the oceanfront was packed, so off to Yelp I went (as always) and came across this place on Shore Dr, closer to home. We were immediately greeted and sat right away. As you'd expect by the name, this place does burgers really really well. We started with the soft pretzel app (because I am a sucker for a soft pretzel). They were good, piping hot out of the oven and served with 3 dippers - queso, mustard and this jam. The jam was AMAZING! When I saw that on the menu I thought it was weird, but wow! Next up were the side salads, ceasar for the Hubby, garden with blue cheese dressing for me. Both were nice and fresh, but nothing really spectacular. I'm guessing bottled dressing on both. We both built our own burgers (though there are so many interesting choices on the menu!). Hubby had his standard LTM and I went with cheddar and bacon. These things are big! I loved that they put 2 slices of cheese on mine - nice. The bacon was a little weird in that there were 2 full slices that makes it a little awkward. We ordered mid-rare and while there was no pink, both were super juicy. It has a typical sports bar feel, with lots of TVs. It's clean and the service is fast and friendly. We'll be back!

It's been a while since my last review, of Craft Burger Bar located on Shore Drive in the heart of Virginia Beach, despite several visits since then. They are elevating the burger business by offering top quality burgers with imagination and style. They offer Wagu beef. When you start with quality ingredients, you are already way ahead of the pack. I'm pretty basic when it comes to the way I like my burgers. I love a good cheeseburger. I like a good sized patty with lettuce tomato and pepper jack cheese. The bun should be lightly toasted so that it doesn't get soggy when the condiments are added. Craft Burger Bar checks every box on my short list. I'm already planning my next visit here.

First walking into Craft Burger Bar, I loved the atmosphere and vibe. The hostess was friendly, greeted us with a smile and let us know what the specials were before our waitress came after we were seated. I was craving a burger and man! The options!! I ended up trying the Mac Daddy because I LOVE Mac & Cheese. And I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the burger as it comes just to get the full experience. After trying it, I would like it better without the buffalo sauce personally but it was still very tasty. The waffle fries were delicious as well. Overall, great dish and I'd be back again.

Was in the mood for some burgers and this place was along the way so decided to stop and check it out. The place is nicely decorated to enhance the wagyu choice of meats the offer. Tables are nice and large offering enough space for food and drinks without feeling crowded. For a drink I had the "expresso yourself" with Baileys as they have an option with Jameson. Wouldn't get it again but it was ok. For burger I went with the firecracker.... Don't let the name or the warning on the menu scare you, it is on the mild side. I also had some jalapeño jelly on the side to try it out with the fries and it was delicious !! The sweet and spicy of the jalapeño jelly was really good. The habanero sauce was also delicious with the fries but the sweet and spicy was delicious. I was hoping to have some room for dessert but the burger, the fries, drinks and having to help my wife with her meal left no room for dessert. Service was adequate. Overall really great choice and I will definitely be coming back and recommend to everyone I know.

My friend and I decided to try craft burger bar after our original lunch destination was too crowded. I was instantly impressed on how fast their service is and really liked their restaurant and bar layout. We were greeted by Sam who took care to us at the bar too. They have an excellent assortment of local and well known national craft beers on tap! The burger was absolutely delicious and priced accordingly for the quality of beef. 100 percent recommend this place if your in the mood for burgers and beer!
